ELVIN T. LIM is Associate Professor of Government at Wesleyan University and the author of The Lovers' Quarrel: The Two Foundings and American Political Development (OUP, 2014) and  The Anti-intellectual Presidency (OUP, 2008). He is a winner of the Sara Norton prize at Oxford, where he read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Politics. He is a also winner of the Presidency Research Fellowship and the Founder's Award of the Presidency & Executive Politics Section of the American Political Science Association.
